Come on NMFJer's, this is going to be a great trip!!!!! Surely you can put off the "honey dues" for one day. Let's get out and "work" your FJ's, otherwise they may feel neglected.

Re: tank Trap - 9Aug08

Hey Guys, Nettie and I are heading up that-a-way on Friday. We will see you there. I got the FJ back on the ground last Thursday nite. We put about 200 trail miles on the new rear end in the last three days. It should be broken in by the weekend. I'm looking forward to a proper test of the new Dana 60.

Jack, If you have a place that I can leave my utility trailer for the weekend I can drop off the parts on Friday. I can pick up the trailer on my way back home on Sunday if that will work. Let me know.

George,

Where will your trailer be? Jack is in Socorro so I'm not sure he can help you. Dan Sr and Tomas live in Sante Fe and can probably help you. If the trailer is in Albuquerque, I can store it for you.

Re: tank Trap - 9Aug08

George,
I am not sure if I can make the Tank Trap but your welcome to leave your trailer at my house or better yet at my work (College of Santa Fe, Garson Studios). Let me know, I can give you directions and I can alert the College's Security guards you will be parking it there for a day.
I am hoping to make it but I am working two jobs so my schedule is very tight. In the very least I hope I could meet for some post run brews.

Tomas

Re: tank Trap - 9Aug08

Thanks Lawrence. I planned on driving thru Socorro on my way up to Santa Fe, that way I could drop off the parts and trailer. It's about the same distance from here to ABQ whether I head north thru The Narrows to I-40 or east thru Socorro to I-25.

I saw the pix of your Jeep I like the color.

I have been fighting the urge to lift it. That is how this FJ thing started...I promised myself just a mild lift and some tires...yea sure!

Thanks for the offer Tomas. I think Jack and I have it worked out.
