Albuquerque body/paint shop?

I don't want to trust my car with just any body/paint shop. I would prefer to have someone that can recommend one.

Can anyone recommend a good body/paint shop? I need to have my RX7 painted, a few pieces of body work fitted, and the seats reupholstered.

Thanks,

Colin

I've heard good things about Quanz, though no first hand experience. Good luck and I'll be interested to hear who you pick and how it goes.

Re: Albuquerque body/paint shop?

When I worked for enterprise we always took all of the vehicles that got wrecked to route 66 auto body. The work that I saw was very good. The shop does alot of hot rods and classics. You may want to check them out. They were located on Zuni.
Here is there website New Page 4
Good luck,

Re: Albuquerque body/paint shop?

While I would highly recomend Blue Thunder, if you are not willing to drive to Denver, Southwest Collision on Claremont has done excellent work for me and serveral people I know in the past. They do all the body work for the local BMW dealer and are very picky about quality.

Re: Albuquerque body/paint shop?

As much as I would like to have Blue thunder work on my car, there is just no way that I can get the car there. Thanks for the other two recommendations, I will be contacting them soon to see what they say.

Thanks

Re: Albuquerque body/paint shop?

Quanz was very exspensive and unresponsive while tehy had my '94 mini truck. My recommendation is for Perez Body. Great guys, and even better work.

Try Fox automotive. He is really good and one of the most honest guys I have ever met. The owners name is Ryan Fox. Small shop but really good work.
