My wife and I will be in Albuquerque for three days at the end of the month to try to find a house to rent, and maybe even get in an interview or two.
I know it's a bit early (I'm a tad excited) but would anyone be up for grabbing beers one night that week? We get in on Tue 1/27 and leave on Sat 1/31, so I'm thinking Wed-Fri nights would work best.
Would love to meet some of our future 'wheeling family.
Sounds good to me! I should be off at least one of those days. By the way, I am a transplant from the great PNW! Born in Port Townsend and raised in Sumner.
Beer --- Fatbob loves Beer any of those days would be great. Lets see who chimes in and we can pick a place. It would help if we knew what area of town you will be in and if you like brew pub beer etc.

Excellent! It'll be great to hear from another PNW native who's made the move. Small world!

I'd love to, but that's a bit of a drive for me in El Paso. If you ever come down my way a little bit more, let me know !
You can bet we'll be doing a bunch of exploring once we get settled, and I'll definitely let ya know when we get down there as I do want to check out that area.

Great! I can drink just about anything, to be honest, though lately I've been on an IPA kick. Brewpub beer is what I'd choose if it were between that and PBR, but again, I'll go where ever ya'll decide. As to where we'll be, I'm not 100% sure yet as we may not stay the full stay at the hotel...I'll let you know.

If it were a week earlier, I would be available. Business takes me to the Duke City for Jan 21/22.

What, not Rainier? And you call yourself a a son of the PNW! Just kidding, I know it's not the same as it was back in high school (ever see the original brewery off I-5 in south Seattle with the big R ?) but I still enjoy it when I come home to visit.
I know, blasphemy, right? I was bummed when Tully's bought the brewery, took down the 'R' and replaced it with a neon green 'T'. Now that was blasphemy.
