Ditto to what you found. I also got rid of an Explorer to get my FJ. Had no real problem with the Explorer but for about the same price the FJ feels about 1 & 1/2 to 2 x the vehicle and a lot more fun to drive. Be careful about the no blind spot though. I thought the same thing at first, but there is a small blind spot on the right hand side even so. Surprized me one day. A small stick on convex mirror took care of that though. Enjoy it.
