Just got my BC FJC and lovin' it. A couple of days ago, I lifted the drivers arm rest straight up and it seemed as if the entire arm rest sank and is now
2"-4" lower then the passenger side one. I know that I can adjust the angle of the arm rest, but can not raise the entire arm rest? Am I missing something, or is a trip to the dealer needed to fix the problem?
The drivers side seat adjusts up and down for height. Since the armrest is fixed to the seat it will move up and down according to the drivers side seat height. The passenger seat does not adjust up and down. Try cranking for height on the drivers side this should level the armrests. You may not be able to see the traffic lights any longer however.
It might seem at a different height due to the angle of the backrest of your seat, or the height of the seat itself (since you can pump it higher/lower)
If all these things seem the same then maybe there is another issue.
