It is a bling item, chrome tip, does nothing for the performance of the truck so to speak. Eye candy.

Serious off roading will most likely have a rock wedged between it and the wheel. I have seen several crushed on drop in holes.

Get a magnaflow, which will increase horsepower minimally, can be tucked up farther and have a good muffler shop run the exhause high up on the bottom of the truck with tip to exit down. No interrior smell, no chane of crushing it on departure or drops. Less money.
Better performance for off roading, not horsepower.

Chrome tip is different than the TRD exhaust system......

I wouldnt waste anything on a chrome tip..

I went with a stainless Magnaflow muffler (tucked up high) and shortened the exhaust tip to eliminate dragging it in the dirt/rocks. Cost me $150 installed at my local muffler shop.

While I'm sure the TRD unit is nice too, why lay out the extra coin?
Any chance you can post a picture on here
