2008 FJ ... when to expect?

I see that the 2007 FJ was released mid-2006. Will the 2008 FJ be released similarly in 2007? I keep hearing that the 2008 model may have more options, like a sun-roof and maybe a nav system? Other colors (I'm really digging the red)?

Any info on this stuff from the FJ gurus on this board?

I'm a non-guru but did talk to a Toyota salesperson last week and asked the very same question. I have no idea if he knew what was what, but he said the '08's won't be out until the end of next summer...duh.

I'd certainly expect more colors, but no major changes for a couple more years. Be nice to have some earth tones and reds out there.

I have heard the same thing. The 2008 will be back on the "standard" model cycle, therefore, it will be release in late summer/fall of 2007 along with the other 2008 models...

Re: 2008 FJ ... when to expect?

I heard they will try to keep the same birthdate for the FJ as they have done with other models. Sales Mgr told me this 2 months ago, but then again hr didn't know there was a SE. So I'm taking it with a grain of salt!

Thumbs up Re: 2008 FJ ... when to expect?

I am planning on trading my 2006 Jeep Rubicon for a 2008 FJC.
