...a mountain goat.

yesterday i took my new Cruiser down to a real goat trail by the river, half a dozen cut backs to get down to the river makes for a good road to check out all of my four wheel drive goodies.

so on my way back up, i tried something crazy ( or so i thought ), i cut across the cutbacks, skipping the road altogether and the FJ had no problem with ATRAC engaged and thats when i realized, i wasnt driving a normal 4x4 - i was actually riding a mountain goat!

it was that first real "cant stop grinning like an idiot" moment in my new FJ, so i was wondering if anybody else has had ( or can remember ) their first big grin???

Re: ...a mountain goat.

Oh yeah, it happens to everyone. And believe me, this definitely won't be your last one. It happens all the time to me. The first moment I ha like that was similar to yours, we were exploring a goat trail and I was the only one that made it through...and I was still stock. I then had to turn around because no one else could make it....which turning around was actually harder than the trail itself. I love my FJ...an I hope to get it back soon.

I hope the trail you were conquering was as burly as this goats path! These guys live right up the road from me

Glad you are learning what you're FJ is capable of and loving it even more. Welcome to the club!

Haha! Thanks guys, didn't think I was the only one

I had the same thought afterwards Hemi, I'm looking to join a local club and find a challenge for the Cruiser

Serow! Cool, I think the name suits the Cruiser ;-)
