Re: Cargo area

Check out the dimensions for the cargo box this person built...should give you a decent idea with / without the seats down/out.

Rear Storage Solutions (12 Articles)

It is pretty much 42"x30" though

I believe this is what the OP was going for. I was about to just go grab my tape measure and help a brutha out instead of typing "google" or "Toyota website"

Kinda reminds me of when my mom would always say go look it up in the dictionary when she could have just told me.

Re: Cargo area

Also, remember that the rear seats fold down for extra cargo.

Bingo, keep in mind the back seat slopes up though so as you go up vertically that 30" is reduced to 28" or less.

Re: Cargo area

With all that said, even with the rear seat(s) up there does seem to always be adequate space for whatever I have to put in the back.

Re: Cargo area

welcome to the Forum ... it isn't a pick-up but there's more room back there than you think ... some of the drawer related setups people have built are pretty cool ... and of course there's always the roof-rack option ...
