Is the SUB that comes with the Option 2 package worth a darn?
I like it. It adds just enough body to the music without vibrating paint off.

Yesterday, while shopping with the wife (or rather following the wife while she shopped), some yoyo came cruising through the parking lot in a whipped 'whatever'. I swear he had X1,000 watts curling up the pavement under his vehicle. But I was hearing some strange metallic sounds accompanying the bass. As he got closer, I almost died laughing! The metallic sounds were being produced by body panels, windows in their channels, or other mechanical components resonating with his woofer. He HAD to hear that crap, but he really thought he was cool.

The FJammer with the woofer works great for me. At 50% volume it drowns out all the wind noise. At 75% it hurts my ears. At 100% I might be suffering cumulative liver/spleen damage.

Re: Option 2 SubWoofer

If you're a big audio guy, it's probably not worth it. I'd say it makes a nice addition to a good stock system.
