Re: Is the FJ a Manly vehicle?

I think it's rather manly. It does what it is supposed to do and doesn't look horrible while doing it.

I think most people that would call it girly or cutesy tend to like American styled designs more than foreign. Nothing you can do to for people that aren't open minded enough to try and drive anything and see if they enjoy it.

or

It could just be jealousy .

Re: Is the FJ a Manly vehicle?

If my wife drives the car it's cute. If I drive it it's manly. End of story.

When the time comes farther down the road when it needs a new paint job, it will be painted flat black. Then it will look like something from Mad Max.

Re: Is the FJ a Manly vehicle?

Sorry...I didn't read all the other replies...

However...what a stupid question. How come people need to confirm with others before deciding for themselves. Trust yourself...go with what feels honest and right for you.

Cheers.

Re: Is the FJ a Manly vehicle?

does it really matter?? the beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
i know many women who have an FJ including myself...
i bought it because i like it...end of story...
didnt even think twice about it, let alone if it was manly or not..

i have an rx8 also....some guys on the 8club question whether the 8 is a chick magnet...i think those guys dont have any self-confidence...

IMO you buy the vehicle for YOU and no one else or what they think

just my 0.02

Re: Is the FJ a Manly vehicle?

Well ..
I think its Extremely Manly.

Actually...I dont understand why a woman would even drive it.
It looks like a Hippo , and has absolutely no feminin qualities at all!

Its a big , square shaped 4x4....
Functional...
I love mine....Its ugly....

Re: Is the FJ a Manly vehicle?

I thought it was a manly vehicle till I looked in the engine bay and see a pink pulley attached to the fan...Whiskey Tango Foxtrot over...
