new guy on the block

Hi everyone I'm brand new here but thought it would be the best place to get some good advise. Since buying my new FJ TRD edition I've had a great time! I was originally going to buy a black cherry 4X4 but when I saw the TRD I knew I had to have it. I have a couple of questions. First I would like to know if there is an FJ club in or near Burbank,CA. And second I wanted to know which lift kit you guys think is the best fit for the FJ. Thanks for any help you can give.

First, welcome.

There is a lot of good information on the forum. Be sure to check the search tool before starting a thread or asking a question. This will insure that redundant information is not created.

As far as your questions check these links:

You may want to check out MUD too. IH8MUD Clubhouse Corner

Enjoy your new toy.

Welcome, as far as the lift, it all depends on what sort of off-roading you plan to do and how much $$$$ you want to spend, have fun.

Re: new guy on the block

Thanks everyone, yes it did come with the TRD exhaust and it sounds greats, I run Rower Flats in SoCAL with some Jeep buddies and have gotten big thumbs up and the exhaust sound and the FJ cilmbing abilities. I hope to have it lifted by next month with either a Truxx, Toytec or Rough Country kit. Would really like to keep stock TRD shocks. Any suggestions.
