1. Need more scratch resistant interior plastic.
2. Rear door windows should open or flip open for ventilation
3. Potential for inner engine bay fenders needs to be resolved by Toyota instead of waiting for their warranty to run out. Need an "official statement" or recall.
4. Need better undercoating/paint. Won't last 2 winters in the salt. A lot of family cars do better, why?
5. More 12 V outlets
6. Map lights in front, ridiculous to assume that FJ owners need to pull flashlights out when driving in the boonies.
7. Need larger gas tank.
8. Lot of wasted space behind rear bumper, could have made a below deck storage compartment there.
9. Need more sound insulation, although its sounds great if you are a gearhead.
10. Rear deck should fold flat when back seats are folded (after removing headrest). (minor Gripe)
11. Choice of tires tread type should be an option and can be done during dealer prep instead of forcing whatever comes on the customer.

1. Got away without those ridiculous tirepressure monitors in the 07. Never want those, can tell when the pressure is low so many other ways. The sensors are expensive and a big risk when getting tires changed/repaired, just more head ache than they are worth.
2. Like not having power anything, except windows.
3. Colors: Voodoo Blue and Sun Fusion.
4. A real Tonka Toy Looks and performance..Just love it to death so everyhing else dosen't matter!
Only use toyota products. Do not buy aftermarket shocks. and do not buy one that is lifted at all. 07 FJ is not been around long, so aftermarket stuff is not up to par.
And never use gasoline. Only a mixture of elk urine, goat shavings and eye of gnewt will do.
I too LOVE my FJC! The only thing I would have to complain about is the size of the visors compared to the size of the drivers side window! WTF were they thinking? It is like they put a huge window and a standard visor. The size of the windshield is frustrating sometimes also. I either have to stop far enough back to see the stop light or bend down to see it. I love driving it though as much as possible.

Yeah, I think the visor is a pain too. It should be 1/2 the size it is. When I need to use it, I just lower it 1/2 way to not to block the entire windshield. Anyone know if a 1/2 sized visor replacement is available anywhere?

Biggest problem I had was with the HUGE blind spot in the rear. That is the major issue that had kept me from buying in the first place. But that is fixed with a couple fisheye mirrors to get the blind spots.
Also the lack of 12v power outlets. I can charge my IPOD but then I can't charge my phone, or vice versa.
Other than that I have not found much else that I dislike about it. Just a few quirky things that come with the shape and design of the vehicle. So, I guess you take the good with the bad...
1-The stock roof rack is a joke, to say the least! 2-I have to work, so I cant be driving FJ all the time! Previous car was a 350Z, which I loved. Now, when I see one, I think about the poor soul driving one and not an FJ cruiser.
