Bought my FJ in june. But I could not let my 97 F-150 go, the green ghost
has 217000 miles on her and I could not part with her she's one of the family!

I let my 98 F-150 go at 150,000 for the FJ. Haven't looked back since. Except the time I needed to get a 4'x8' sheet of ply home last week.

Re: trading my f150

yep i have had 3 chevy pickups, last one was a 01/ 2500 w/6" lift, 33"TBirds, TB spacer, exhaust, it kinda hurt but i love my FJ. i feel you're pain dude! and they are gr8 in the mud! gotta get a little more ground clearance but to say they are capable is an understatement.

Re: trading my f150

I had a 2004 F150 FX4 that I loved. Unfortunately the thieves liked it better. Got stolen last October. Bought my new FJ the end of November. I used the Ford for tower work in the mountains of SoCal. Was always banging the rear Quarter panels. The FJ has never even gotten a scratch. I really like the FJ, but have done quite a bit to it.
