Washer Gauge

Hey I just came across a curiosity with my FJ, hadn't seen it commented on in the other villages so I thought I'd ask. My washer fluid ran out twice without the low fluid gauge coming on to warn me. Next time I took it in for an oil change I asked the dealed to look to see if the bulb was burned out or if the fuse needed replacing. 45 minutes later he came out scratching his head telling me it wasn't wired for a washer fluid gauge and there actually is no gauge. A small thing I guess, but I've never owned a car without one. Anybody esle come across this?

Re: Washer Gauge

Never actually owned a car with one. Neat idea though. My idea of washer fluid guage is the oil changer dude.

Re: Washer Gauge

maybe "gauge" was an overstatement, low washer fluid indicator is probably more accurate

Re: Washer Gauge

Washer Fluid can be monitored by pressing the Washer button , When it stops squirting you need some washer fluid.
