You can get both from TRD which has an add on this site. Very good to deal with and yes, they have the arm rest.

Re: Question on tow-hitch & pass. arm rest

YES!
VERY EASY!
easy easy easy.

Check out the vendors section, do go through each one that offers these products because pricing, shipping and offers differ...but you're looking at about $150 for the hitch $80 for the wire harness and $80 for the armrest.

BE CAREFUL:

you'll end up with a Christmas list longer than any 5 year olds!

Thanks for the reply guys. I figured that was the case, and that it would be easy. I've got quite a bit of sports car modding experience, but this is my first SUV/Truck.

Re: Question on tow-hitch & pass. arm rest

Sure I installed the Stock tow-hitch and used the instructions from this forum and not the instructions from the manufacturer.. lol

Here is a tip, IF YOU want to do some real off-roading, get the STOCK Hitch. and NOT an after-market one. All the after-market ones are installed lower that the stock hitch and you will lose clearance when negotiating hills or ditches. Those few inches WILL make a difference at times.

Re: Question on tow-hitch & pass. arm rest

I definatley plan on getting the stock hitch. I won't have the need to tow anything (trailer, etc) anytime soon, but is it a good idea to have it for offroading recoveries?

This another very useful accessory for the hitch, I bought mine at 4-Wheel Parts in Tampa. It is known as an Receiver Hitch Shackle Mount or D-Rings. I carry two D-Rings.

The stock Hitch is rated a Class 3 and 5,000 lb. I have used mine to recover several rigs. But I never had to be recovered myself with it.... Just kidding yep, I have been saved too...
