Re: tail light guards

They bolt on I believe. I was thinking about getting them but then decide it's just not worth it, if a car DID hit my lights with the tail light guards on, it would just bend in the tail light guard AND break the tail lights lol

Re: tail light guards

Well in that case, it would work :-P go to the Misc Discussion section, there are some people talking about them right now, mainly about how hard they are to install.

Re: tail light guards

Not hard as hell -- the instructions don't tell you what all you need to do in order to install ANY tail light guard.

The Real Wheels tail light guard is a nice unit. They're a reputable company and all that but "forgot" to give you/me real world step by step instructions.

Re: tail light guards

I actually personally want to get these, not for protection or anything, just because it matches Black Diamond FJ\TRD's so friggin' well, it looks stock when it's on them. Even though they are technically a worthless purchase in my place...I might do it.

Re: tail light guards

After looking it all over I decided to pay a local truck accessory installer to put them on. I "supervised" the job and am glad I had him do it. $30 well spent!
