The Cinco De Mayo FJ Cruiser Trail Run '07 was a real fun event held in The Withlacoochee State Forest, Florida. We had 18 FJs in attendance and one Jeep on Saturday. There were so many FJ's, we had to split in to two groups for the morning trail run. When the two groups rejoined for lunch we posed most all of the FJs in line off a small paved road. Quite a few of the passing drivers on this road were slowing to a crawl to gawk at the sight. And in town, we caused a rubber-necking log jam for a few minutes as half the group was pulled off to the side waiting for the other half to make it through a red light.
All those FJs in line, rolling through town, looked like a small-scale invasion!
This is Paul The Photographer climbing out of the trench and my FJ on the left. I'm not sure who that is in the back, but the winch should help ID him.
I believe this Titanium FJ with the aftermarket sliders and wheels is another Tampa Bay FJ'er, but I can't remember his name. Christopher maybe?
And here's that same Tampa Bay Titanium FJ in the lead with Paul the Photographer behind him. Paul's FJ is easy to recognize from the front, and as of today the back as well, due to his trademark "no-wrench bumper mods".
Thanks to everyone involved with helping set this event up as well as everyone that attended!
