Re: Roof Dent

i had a dent in the quarter panel that pulled right out with the suction cup method. I'd give that a try first before possibly damaging the paint with a heat gun or hair drier.

Re: Roof Dent

I'm interested to see how this goes... the other night when we had that meteor shower, I was laying on the roof with the g/f to view the sky... she's little but I'm about 300lbs! Got some pretty good ones up there.

Cool, I'm not the only one to dent the roof.
I hit a tree, A limb got caught in my rack, now I have a creased dent all the way down the roof

Quote:
If you take a blow dryer, a heat gun would be better (if you happen to have one lying around) and heat the dented area. Then use the air in a can stuff for cleaning electronics and spray the dent after its been heated to rapidly cool the dent.
Or you could come to Bakersfield, let it sit for an hour, and then toss Ice water on it

I agreed, but use the death blow, kill that dent!!!!!

I had 2 dents in my driver's side rear door, they are now a fraction of the size that they were, in fact the smaller one is almost entirely gone, FJ's have memory metal for body tin, just give it lots of dirty looks, it'll go away on it's own.
