Above suggestions are spot-on:

1. Blacking out bumper caps not only look better, but touch-up is a breeze: just repaint!

2. Upgrade oppty to a "real" rear bumper would cause more damage to the other vehilces that tag you in the future...

Thanks for all of the ideas and support guys! I think I will go with the touch up here in the short term while I research bumper replacements. I do like the idea of a tougher bumper that makes the people who run into it pay
