My goal is to come home. It's a very simple goal. Nothing elaborate at all. My build-up is constructed with that end in mind. I think that's a good rule of thumb. With deference to SHADOW-WARRIOR, I think that's what he wants to do as well. How you go about that process of planning and implementation is the question.[/quote]
I am building with "expedition" in mind. I want to go many places, remote and not so remote, and come home in the end, with my rig and a few good stories.
I believe in some armour, in just the right places. I have seen my skids, and they have a few good dents and scratches. I believe in the suspension lift and the ARB bumper and winch. When you need it, you got it; and once you have it, you'll be surprised how often you will use it.
The FJ does have the features that make it comfortable, for me and the family, while climbing and swimming!
They do laugh at me where I work, until I pull them out of the ditch, climb over the spill piles and go where ever I please...
