Re: How to Lock the Glass Hatch of the back door?

Welcome Aboard hermit!
To answer your question, I assume you've made sure the glass is completely closed? Once you have made sure then hit your lock button on your remote or if you don't have one the push button on the inside of your door. If nothing above works, it's time to take it back to the dealer. Good luck and keep us posted!

Re: How to Lock the Glass Hatch of the back door?

I know this sounds crazy, but closing it hard (not exactly slamming it) will engage the lock.

Hope that helps

You can also try using your key in the rear door and try turning it both ways to see if it locks the window. I remember I had that problem with mine and I tried a few different combos of opening and closing with the key in and out and it finally locked.

I actually did this when I first got my FJ and then decided to push it closed. The trick was to keep applying pressure at the bottom until I heard it engage. slamming it shut just didn't sit to well with me.
