Thoughts on how they would be with heated seats. I would like to put heated seat kits in. Anyone have these i know people have talked a bunch on here about them? KiltedBishop do you think you would get the benefit of the kit since you said they don't transfer heat good.
According to Wet Okole (I called them), they will just take a bit longer to heat up.

Re: Wet Okole

I have had mine on all winter with heated seats. No problems so far. It takes longer for them to heat up and cool down because of the extra insulation. I plan on pulling them off for the summer because I work in alot of mud, dirt and grease, then reinstall them next fall. I am sure I will miss them.

Like said above, I figure they would just take longer. I would think they would cool pretty quickly unless they were in direct sunlight, then it's more a function of the color. But it sounds like I might be wrong from someone who has it.

Re: Wet Okole

Ordered mine last week and its two to three weeks on delivery to Canada..... I'm stoked!! I have been looking for seat covers since I got my FJ but could never find anything that I like or anything that fit well.

I've got a dog and the dog print stock seats are cute unless you are the one having to clean them.

These seat covers from the pics appear to look great and fit like a glove....(not OJ's either).

I"ll let you know when I get mine what I think then and how long it took me (a very unskilled handy-man) to install them.

Did I read this right and you are going to take the covers off before getting the seats dirty? These things clean so easily and if you do ruin them, I bet they are cheaper than a new set of seats! Just a thought...

Re: Wet Okole

I agree seat covers are far move easier to clean and cheaper than replacing real seats.

Re: Wet Okole

These covers look great and sound durable. I've ordered the swatches and brochure. Good to hear they work well with heated seats as I am considering these...once again, thanks for all the terrific info/advice offered by everyone. My 'purchase date' can't get here soon enough!

Hey folks! These seat covers really are the BOMB! I have had my front covers and now have the back seat covers coming in the 3d Group buy. Look around but you will love these!!
