Package/Option Question...

Hi all.. I've been a long time lurker ... I want to thank everyone for the tons of great information... you all have helped me decide on the FJ... so now I'm on my way to get one in the next few weeks. I have one question that I couldn't seem to find an answer to...

For the various package options... is that the only way to get the options that I want... or is there a way to pick and choose what I want from the various package options... basically can I order one the way that I want it ?

Thank you for all of the help again ... I appreciate it.

Re: Package/Option Question...

That all depends on what exactly you want. 4x4, manual transmission, offroad package, TRD wheel package, accessories such as a tow hitch or a roof rack. You can decide on what you want.

But, GET THE 08 TT!!!!!

I think you can go Toyota .com and "build one online " and, check availability too, maybe even order it. The 08 TT is the Shiznit!!

Re: Package/Option Question...

My sales lady was going to order me a FJ and was going through the option list item by item, when I told her she had one on the lot that was set up like I wanted (actually, I was incorrect - wish I had the three gauge pod).

Anyway, she told me she could get it ewuopped any way I wanted. Note: I bought 2008 about 2 weeks ago.

Depending on where you are and if you are dealing with a private distribution or Toyotas, it can vary.

I work for a store in the Central Atlanic Toyota area and they will not order, unless you are willing to wait 4-6 months, an FJ without the interior Conv Pkg... and they package a ton from the factory. If you want individual items such as; the sub, the racks, boards, rails, etc. we would have to add them in house. I know other areas can let you pick and choose because they do a lot of port installed stuff on the fly

Good luck with your purchase

You do not get to pick and choose from individual package components.

CQ is CQ
UP is UP

You can't get the sub with the factory single disc player.

What are you trying to "get" and we'll help you figure out the best way to do it?
