Done Deal!!

For those of you who helped me out with all my questioons i just wanna shout out thank you very much for all you help.

I won't go into my story too much but for those that are interested I started the threat "said no to a JK and yes to an FJ"

I finally got the chance to pull the trigger yesterday and bought an 07 FJ Silver "C" Package A/T.

The whole process was an endurqance test (5 hours) and my Fiance was just OUTSTANDING, I never knew she was such a Bare Knuckles Negotiator.

After my test drive they gave me the price that they would give me on my tradein, an 07 VW GTI fully loaded. They came at me with $15,000 and she freaked!!! It took some time but by the end of it we got $21,000

The FJ out the door was $26,000 So I think I did really good. There was some scrapes in the bumpers and in the cargo area in the back but other than that the rest of the truck was very clean and in great condition. They said they would do there best to minimize the scratches in the plastic in the cargo area but if I have to I'll just put in some new panelling. Apparently there PDI guy is amazing and he shuold do an excellent job but.....they probably all say that.

I have a question do all FJ's come with the FJ door sil protectors? is it a C package thing or do you have to order them seperatly because this is the only FJ that I test drove that has them. I test Drove a TT SE and it didn't have them.

Anyway I am very excited but I don't pick it up for another week..... but I'm working on that

does anyone know of an OEM website that I can go to for parts that I will probably want to replace?

Thanks

What I meant to say was there are these what look to be and feel like metal or aluminum sil covers that have the big FJ logo on them, is that what you have ?

The billett sill protectors are a dealer or port installed accessory.

Re: Done Deal!!

The FJ's been out for a couple of years now, I'd check a recycler/junkyard. It's a one piece unit with a shock type of attachment on the right side.
