Don't know where your at as far as the CB mount, but here's what I did,(see below pic's)
I could not find a spot that I liked for my stuff. The viser shelf uses the sun viser mounting screw holes, I never use the sun viser anyway, & I did need to drill 2 small holes near the rearview mirr. It works well, made it through Raush Creek blue trails all day with no problems at all. It was quite easy to build. Just to give you some other idea's.

Hey thanks Maxxfj, I really like that idea! Good pictures as well, I dont ever use my sun viser either, so I really think I might go this route. I was not at all very happy with the idea of drilling any holes in my new car....
Lowrance GPS mounted where the R/V mirror was. It would be a simple thing to put your radio there if that's what you wanted to do. You need to fabricate a custom bracket, drill a couple holes to match the R/V mirror attachment points and you're in business.
