I have a question from Spain

First, congratulations on this forum.

I intend to buy a FJ to bring it to Spain and in particular version is the Trail Teams.
He contacted a dealer in Miami and I said that to be a limited version, there is no longer stocks. Is this true? I hope not, how far when you can buy this version?
I hope we can resolve my doubts, because I am convinced to buy this car.
I take to commentators, I am the president of a 4x4 club in Spain, is a club of a thematic model to be manufactured under licence Land Rover, in particular models manufactured by Santana, as mine is in full restoration, I leave with you a picture one of some friends.

If you want to visit the website, here I leave with you the link club Santanaligeroindex

Thanks

Re: I have a question from Spain

Welcome to the forum. Great to hear and see a group in Spain; next time I am there, I will contact your group now that you will have FJ's!!!

There is a Trail Teams Special Edition version for 2008; it is 'limited edition'. There should still be models available to buy through the dealer in Miami, or located elsewhere and shipped there. I did a search and found a few for sale on Ebay, and there are still new models available through other dealers through the South East. Try google to start.

Take a look at the Toyota web site and use the Dealer Locater to find one in Florida that may have one.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck.

Re: I have a question from Spain

Hola, y bienvenidos!

If I understand correctly, you are saying that you would prefer the stock FJ, yes? There should be plenty of them available. Mine just arrived in Germany, and will be for sale here in 2 years if you can wait that long.

Re: I have a question from Spain

rcrespo,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, you can't buy a New Toyota (any Toyota) in the USA and have it shipped to anythere else, even Canada.

Toyota has put a kabosh to all dealers shipping out of the US, my dealer group which has 2 Toyota stores in it just got hit with a 35000 fine from Toyota last month for selling them to a broker in CA which sent them to Russia (or somewhere in ERUASIA). This was for just 4 Tundra's.

The only way you can buy one is as a Used Vehicle which has been registered in the USA and it has to be at least 6 months old. Toyota only checks vehicle registrations for 4 to 5 months. After that they don't care...

Sorry to break the bad News, but Toyota USA is getting really picky on where these vehicles are going and to who we are selling them to.. Next we won't be able to sell them to a NON Citizian, you are going to have to show you papers just to buy a vehicle.. Freakin great...

Re: I have a question from Spain

For Phatim
I live in Madrid.
In Asturias can ride a TT calmly but here in Madrid is impossible.
