Quick Fist question...

I'm buying some Quick Fists so I can mount my 3.5 lb white Kidde auto fire extinguisher and my MagLite (3D) to the driver's side rear corner wall of my cargo area. Question: will just one Super Quick Fist (2.5"-9.5" holding range) hold my extinguisher? Also, I'm using the two smaller (1"-2.5") Quick Fists that come in a pair to hold my MagLite - right call?

Seperate question: what size/type screw should I use, or is it possible to use bolt/washer/nut for mounting to rear side cargo walls? Any advice?

I'm using two Super Quick Fists to hold that 20 lbs CO2 tank (very heavy) in the photo and a third to hold the recovery strap. I don't think you'd need more than one for your fire extinguisher. I would put a backing plate or at least a LARGE fender washer on each side of the plastic panels in the cargo area to keep the plastic from cracking. Maybe it's over-kill, but I prefer to go with plates/washers for applications like that where the plastic wall is concerned.

Note that I use quickfists to keep the shotgun in place on the rack.

EDIT: I use the M-PAC side rack to secure my fire extinguisher (photo below)

Re: Quick Fist question...

Thanks, Uphill. I really like those M-PAC side and rear racks - for both functionality and overall look. Maybe I'll take that route instead. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Quick Fist question...

uphill,
nice lookin set up. where did you get the large mpac rack that the gun is mounted to? I haven't seen that on springtail solutions.
