TRD SC on AT FJcruiser???

hey guys, nice to be a member here
I might buy 08 FJ cruiser with AT transmission (I wanted to have MT transmission, but it's not available in my country T_T) anyway I wounder if it's safe to mod automatic FJ ?? once I get my FJ I will get TRD CAI, SC and exhaust, but not sure if it's gearbox is able to handle the power? would a transmission oil cooler with 9" fan help on this issue?? who did mod his AT FJ cruiser here?

Welcome,

Please fill in your sig and your banner when you have the time.

Those threads previously posted have some good information for you. Some have left the tranny stock (it already comes from the factory with synthetic ATF, Toyota WS), some have added an auxiliary cooler, some have had the tranny beefed up with a modified valve body, and some have done both the cooler and the valve body. I guess it all depends on how hard your going to abuse the transmission.

Good luck and have fun.
