New FJ as of last night

I have been reading alot of posts here (great site by the way) for a while but never registered. Well since I bought an FJ last night I figured I would register this morning! It is a silver AT. I did not get a few things I wanted but the price was great. A couple questions:
1. Wheel locks, Do the Toyota wheel locks match the other lug nuts well? The part #PT 276-42011-FJ says it is 4 locks with steel lock for spare. Is there 5 locks that all match?

2. I wanted the TRD exhaust option but the cost was too much. I was thinking about ordering it on-line. Is this a bolt on application I could do in the garage or is there welding and fitting to be done?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome.
You got the right part number.
TRD exhaust is completely bolt on - and fairly easy to install – check out the instructions posted on trdsource.com
Enjoy the new ride!

Lurker turned owner - that is awesome.

No matter what you do to your FJ remember to share your lessons and Pics as you do it (just good forum etiquette!).

Re: New FJ as of last night

Congrats and welcome!! To answer your question about the wheel locks, they are 5 locks in the package. They do not exactly match the existing lugs but they are weighted the same as the existing lugs. Also, they are made by McGard for Toyota. I found mine at a dealership in Claremont, CA online. With shipping, less than $50. Dealers around here want $65 - $75 for the same thing. Hope this helps and WELCOME!!!

Re: New FJ as of last night

I'm now 48 hours into my Ti Metallic 4WD & feel like a kid at Christmas. I think this is gonna be fun...

Anyone have a recommendation for brand/type of wax to use? Never can make sense out of the wax aisle at Kragen.

Thanks!

Re: New FJ as of last night

Check TRDsource.com for the parts. Got my wheel locks from them for $30. Use search feature for the wax questions...long threads on that topic. Welcome & enjoy the FJ.
