factory subwoofer ?'s

next fj im looking to possibly purchase has EVERYTHING except the subwoofer +/- accessory parts.
My questions;
-how many watts is the factory subwoofer kicking out?
-size of subwoofer?
-brand?
-is that like the infinity subwoofers w/ built in amp?

(and the choices are narrowing down to 4-)

It's not worth the money.....the rig you're talking about is the perfect fully loaded rig you're gonna' find.....

The sub adds bass.....the amp is small...the sub is cheap....the box is plastic and looks dumb....and toss in some heavy D and that pig is commin' apart....

Buy the truck and add a sub later if you want one.....

So yes....it adds a little bass....but it ain't gonna be good enough for rap or hip-hop and the fact you asked about watts/size/and brand.....I got a dollar that's what you're looking for.....

yeah, seriously the sub sucks. i actually like the box, but... its like white people bass. lol. if your like me, you want to feel it destroying your chest.

you know you have good bass when you cant even use the rearview mirror because everything looks blurry.

I have one, and I agree 100% with homedad. Once I have spent enough $$ on suspension/tires/armor, I will be building a custom sub to replace the factory POS. It's so lame that I have to actually look at the position of the "Subwoofer" switch to know if it is on or not!

wooohoo..alright fellas, looks like tha big chief upstairs agrees, because I got the RIG!!!!

07/ diff/trac lock 4x4, tow package..everything but that kitchen sink bass box. Thanks fellas, i had a gut feeling that i shouldn't worry if the rig had the subwoofer or not.

its 1145 at night, just got home. rig will be picked up this weekend after i get back from my fishing trip...i can't even sleep, and i have to get up at 430am

and yes...i want a lil bass- homedad

nah...the amp in the box is only 30 watts. As everyone else said, you are much better off building you're own system. Congrats on the rig!!

i got the sub too . . . good nuff for us old geezers but thats about it. your certainly not going to impress anyone with it.

you can prolly put a couple back there somewhere; then annoy the s*** outta me when i'm next to you at the stop light

Mine came with the factory sub. This white boy not interested in replacing amp and box, but would like a little more bass. Can you replace the speaker itself with a higher quality one and get a bit better bass? If so, which brand would you recommend? I think it is an 8".
