Looks good! what tire size you running on the stock 16"s?? I currently have steelies but i like having more tire options for 16"s. I am looking for the same wheels for a good price (i am thinking around $350???). Where did you find yours and what did you pay? Thanks

Tallywacker7,

On the 18" black steels I had 32" tires, whick looked kinda too small for the size of the FJ body, IMO. So, when I got the 16" alloys, I went with 295/75, which are 33.2"ers.

I posted WTS/T threads and found a member on a local board (SoCalFJCruiserForums.com) who loved my KMC Rockstars, and I loved the off-road packaged wheels so much that we made an even trade. I've seen them on WTS threads since, but don't remember what the asking prices were.

Black wheels FTW!
My Taco had black FJ Trds, and I plan on throwing them on my new 09 FJ once I get my lift installed to fit them.

I come from Jeep land and have never heard of this. It seems like you guys are all about and only about black wheels. What's up with that? Is it an FJ thing? Or, is it something that someone here at this forum started and you guys are all playing follow the leader? It sure isn't a Jeep thing!

Just curious.
I was first amazed a jeeper would be asking about the black wheel thing but then I saw your jeep. Black is actually the style in off road right now, the current feel is chrome is a mall crawler thing and off roaders do not do chrome.
I guess it is so bad a friend of mine who wheels a H2 has so anti chromed that thing it looks really mean all blacked out.
But I guess in the Bling world chrome does rule, and with that style being so big I guess it can be easy to confuse the two.

+1 Perfectly stated, chrome is for Escalades... not offroad rigs. My FJ three days old now is gonna have black arb front rear bumps black sliders ordering today, and my Tacomas old black FJ trd trail teams, with Cooper STTs, waiting on lift. Oh yeah and you gotta tint the front windows to match.
