Why are you guys so crazy for black wheels?!?

I come from Jeep land and have never heard of this. It seems like you guys are all about and only about black wheels. What's up with that? Is it an FJ thing? Or, is it something that someone here at this forum started and you guys are all playing follow the leader? It sure isn't a Jeep thing!

Like most people, I always had aluminum's on my Jeep.

My FJ is coming with the 17" alloys wheels and I just ordered a set of the TRD 16" alloys.

I really just like the utilitarian look. Blacked out is easier for me to keep looking "clean". I am a girl and just like keeping stuff looking "nice".

Seriously, though... I always thought the black steel wheels were considered the cheap wheels. You guys have me re-thinking that. I am starting to really dig the black wheel look, I just never saw it 'til I came here.

And, yes, "follow the leader" might have been a bit harsh.

And, yes, I plan on following you guys' lead. I love your FJs!

well i plan to paint mien black so it will match my fj better then ill do the the front thingy and the mirrors and a black billet grill
