Re: Feedback on FJ

The only thing I can add to all the replies, is that it has all kinds on power on the road. I find that it accelerates really good off the line and on the higway when you need to pass someone it's got all kinds.

Here is an idea...

Come to the DFW Meet & Greet and check out about a dozen or so FJ's in one sitting...from mild to wild. You will see every option that is currently available at the dealer and all the aftermarket goodies too with no pressure or BS from a salesperson.

You are welcome to drive mine if ya like.

Here is the link to the info DFW Area M&G Saturday June 27th

I am a fan of Toyota of Dallas. They are huge supporters of this forum and the off-road community in general. They wheel and service what they sell!
I think I will take you on that offer? This one is in FT correct?

Re: Feedback on FJ

So I called around, FJ's 4x4 with goods are not that common, it's pretty much basic or comes with 8k worth of dealer options which is a BS markup. I might swing for a basic 4x4, but I hate to start tearing it up to install stuff that I like. I'm really surprised with the selection of FJ's in Dallas. Each dealership has either non or 2 at the most.

Re: Feedback on FJ

If I had to do it all over again I would def buy a stripped down auto 4x4 and build it up with aftermarket goodies of my choice. I sold many of the stock things I thought I wanted at pennies on the dollar. If you can find an basic 4x4 jump on it.

"Well there is only 1 out there and it is Black..30298.46 plus ttl on it..This is the only one in all of Gulf States so it will not last to long.. let me know if you want me to get it."

He is saying they got the only 4x4. I find that hard to believe.
