Question New diff covers?

Since I'm regearing and getting an ARB locker I noticed this product. I dont see too much info out there on these. Some varying opinions on manufacturer makes and one web site where they shot them with some .454's.

Will it offer better protection to damage than stock?

Can one of these be used instead of a rear diff cover (ex: bud built)

Does the extra heat dissipation make a difference in the life/work of the gears?

should both be utilized or just one?

thanks!!

Re: New diff covers?

Our rear difs do not have a bolt on diff cover to the rear of the unit. Our 3rd members bolt in as a unit from the front side of the diff.

Dana covers...and the list goes on

Re: New diff covers?

GAry I just recall reading an article where they shot at diff covers with different caliber pistols to prove how strong they were. They were all bolt on diff covers for Dana 60s.

Re: New diff covers?

FrankJames - did you ever make a decision? I would appreciate any feedback that you have, if you made the plunge. I need my rear diff covered before this season.
