For any of you acoustic fans, if you have tried a Taylor guitar, you know they have wonderful tone and unparalleled craftsmanship. This is a limited edition run from 2003 with very expensive appointments. It would be a custom order now around $4600.
I am firm at $1750 shipped in CONT US, as I have already lowered the price several times.
This guitar is my main squeeze and the best maple I have ever played (and I have played a lot of Taylor Maples!!!) I am pressed financially with a never-ending divorce (going on two years now and she loves to monitor me on this forum) I need to part with both of them.
This guitar is a spectacular limited inside and out. Very big, balanced sound that cuts through playing live or recording. It has easy, low action and is just a joy to play.
In addition to the select flamed maple back and sides, honey colored sitka top. Gorgeous rosewood binding, cocobolo headstock overlay, heel and wedge with 900 series abalone binding detail and soundhole inlay. The Pearl Snowflake markers which are beautiful and unique to this series and this guitar has the nicest (most expensive) additions that Taylor has ever put on a limited as far as I know.
It has brand new (June '08) K&K mini pickup installed. It is in mint condition. No marks at all that I can find and frets are in excellent shape. Comes with deluxe Taylor case.
