I've got an Old Town Loon 160 that we don't use any more. It's the size of a canoe so it's great for two or three people. Much more comfortable than a canoe as you are sitting down in it. My wife prefers her own yak, so I bought a single one too. The 160 is the largest recreational tandem kayak that Old Town makes (actually, used to make...it looks like they only make the Dirigo and Otter tandems now). Adjustable seats, Polylink 3 Material with built in floatation, Deck Rigging, Paddle Rigging. I used it for fishing in Maine before I bought my boat. Nice and stable, with plenty of room if you want to bring the dog along.
Here's a link to some reviews of the Loon 160.

At $550, it's in very good shape, a couple of scratches on the bottom of the bow from grounding on a sand beach, otherwise a good bath, add 2 paddles and PFDs and have at it. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY - I'm in Western CT...too big to ship.
