Re: NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner

in order to provide concise "at-a-glance" information and prevent clutter, i have edited the "past trail runs" section to reflect trail runs with actual trail reports.

Re: NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner

just a reminder to check the byline at the bottom of post #1 to see when the latest updates were made to the summer schedule.

i'm glad we've got a run proposed for this weekend...for a while it was looking like we were going to go two weekends in a row without a run. sheesh.

time to enjoy the outdoors folks!

Re: NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner

the july 20-22 weekend run at sierra buttes has been canceled due to fire restrictions, so we have decided to move our run to the bear valley ski resort area off highway 4. a new thread has been started for this run.

the thursday run to blackwood canyon/ellis peak is still on.

also, please take note that we currently have no other runs planned for the rest of the summer. what's up norcal?

Re: NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner

another hollister run has been added for those of you who do not have plans this holiday weekend.

also, there have been quite a few newbies who have joined since our last published trail run. hollister is a great place to play around and get a hang of your new rig.

have fun if you go!

Good idea. We need to figure in the allegheney trail out of nevada city. It is a four but takes all day. It has some granite swimming holes along the way and an old mining town.
Went on that Trail about 4 weeks ago, was in pretty good condition although a little dusty. Did it in my WJ and it really was not all too bad...would be cake for any stock FJ.

Great swimming by German Bar

I have been thinking of doing the McKinney Creek Trail and the Blackwood Canyon Trail on the FJ before its to late.

Definitly intersted in a snow run! :-)
