NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner
what the heck, let this be the trail run planner for the rest of the year. we will include any snow outings on this planner as well.
i thought it might be helpful to post a thread that collected information on the planned trail runs in the nor*cal region this summer. this will assist us and visiting fj-ers from other regions in scheduling and planning efforts.
listed are weekend dates (fri-sun) through the month of september. i have also included trail ratings. the first number that appears is the rating found on the
norcal ttora site and the second level indicator is from the book, guide to northern california backroads & 4-wheel drive trails.
i'll try my best to keep this thread up-to-date. if you want to propose any trail runs this summer, just start a thread or send me a pm and i will post the information.
hope to get in a few good runs this summer!

Re: NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner
Good idea. We need to figure in the allegheney trail out of nevada city. It is a four but takes all day. It has some granite swimming holes along the way and an old mining town.

Re: NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner
I agree. I can also put a public calendar on NorcalFJ.com and we can use that as well as the thread.

Re: NorCal FJs Summer 2007 Trail Run Planner
June 20, 21, 21, 23, 24
trail: Rubicon
level: (5 - extreme)
length: 3 - 5 days
owner: TLCA
Min Vehicle requirements - 33's, locker or gearing. Good body armor is important. You could also do the Caddy hill decent on Friday, but you miss a lot of the trail.

Barney Riley trail is a good one. Nice hot tubs at the end on a river.

I've been wanting to run Banrey Riley. Anyone want to pick a date?
