Worn Seat's Not covered under warranty

Hey FJ'rs,

I am having an issue with my driver seat being worn and starting to fray. Toyota of Dublin states that they wont cover it under their warranty because its not fraying on the seam. I wanted to know how many others are having this issues as I will be contacting Toyota.

Thanks,

Rocky

WTF does the seam have to do with it?

Go to another dealer cause others have had theirs replaced because they were fraying. Mine are also, but not that bad. I'll probably take it in later.

We have the same issue. Haven't tried to take it to the dealer yet.

Re: Worn Seat's Not covered under warranty

I have the same problem. Dealer says it's normal wear and tear and suggested a seat cover.

Re: Worn Seat's Not covered under warranty

Showed my seats to my dealer and he said they would replace if I wanted. I'm getting covers so I'm leaving as is but wanted to help the next person that came through and wanted them replaced.

IMHO these stock seat covers show wear way to easy!

I wish the next seat cover group buy would get started!
