Rubicon Work Days

I know this is still a long way out, but I figure if we talk about it soon enough more people may show up. This is a great move to show we care and give back to the community in appreciation for our usage.
Here is the link for the organizers "Friends of the Rubicon":
Rubicon Trail Work Days and Plans
If I have a few people to join me, I will sign up with them to be the middle man for the FJ'ers.
My take on this... we should show up in force.
No matter if your rig is not set up for it, I am sure we can find room for you to ride along with others, and I know there is also work to be done at the different entrances to the trails, so no excuses...

Re: Rubicon Work Days

Thanks!

Yep, I'm dying to get out on a trail. We've never done the Rubicon, and would LOVE to do it this spring! This may work out perfectly

Re: Rubicon Work Days

I have been wanting to do the trail too and this sounds like a great way of giving back and keeping our trails open. Count me in as a maybe. I will check out the link and hopefully lock in the calander.

Re: Rubicon Work Days

Yeah Pit we could strap some garbage bag to your pitts and they could earn their meal for the day. Although I guess having the two of them in your doorway like that proves they don't have to do much to be intimidating...

Re: Rubicon Work Days

I sure wish I lived closer. This sounds like a great way to both use and show appreciation for this legendary trail.
