I got there at about 10 till 7, heck of a time finding a parking place, I asked the gal's at the seating desk if there was a Sandi or Annie or Mark.. only full names I remembered from this am, and got a dumb look, I asked around at a couple tables and struck out, dumb me should've checked on here before leaving work and asked the obvious, where were ya gonna be at. Never been there before, nice place, good beer, had a Hef while I was standing around trying to figure out how to find this group in a mass of college students, guess I deserve a

Well points for going the miles Dave. I like to think you weren't the only one there. Maybe next time the organizer can drop a cell number for just such a circumstance. I wouldn't have thought of it either, but for the future.

I think if we attach the beer to a wheeling event we might get a better turnout.
Just a thought.

Dang it! We TOLD both of the hostesses to look for anyone asking for Sandi, Annie, or the FJ club! Next time, we'll have to have some way to find us. We were upstairs

NP Annie, I take part blame on it, should've jumped on the forum during my lunch and asked. Live and learn.

BTW, It wasn't a total waste, I've lived in the bay area now for about 6 yrs and that was my first excursion into the Berkeley college area, just pass by on the way to catch an A's game or to the airport, at least I didn't have to cross one of the dang bridges to get there.

Sorry, Dave! We had no idea it'd be that crowded on a rainy Thursday night. I had an FJ ball cap, and felt like a total dork wearing it, so I left it in the car.

I promise next time we'll send PMs with cell phone numbers, and/or describe what we're wearing so we get better recognition.

Hope the Hef was good.
