It's directly next to the Downtown Berkeley BART, which is terribly convenient! We've BARTed it just to avoid the parking.
Their Quasar beer is award winning and very good, and they often have good guest taps. They have California style pizza's and salads, no burgers. Turns out there will be a band starting at 8pm, no cover. It's usually a low-key kind of band...
The outside seating is very nice, they have an incredible garden, but it's usually a little cold. Jacket's are a must.

For those who aren't Berkeley-ites, there is a pay lot after 5 pm on ADDISON and SHATTUCK - 1/2 block towards campus from the Scandinavian Design store on the corner.
The pay lot on the left is more expensive than the UC lot on the right - which allows unlimited after-5-pm parking for $3, last I looked...
Although you can sometimes street park, it's best to give up early and take one of the garages/lots she suggested.
The only question would be the time. You want to meet right after work or later? 6pm? 6:30? 7? 8? Please vote!

Drums bouncing and keyboards set on stun, one-man-band Joel Fadness offers a frenetic opus of funky electronic jazz. Despite having held down gigs as a drummer for several world, world fusion, Native American, and jazz artists, Fadness has an obvious command overand ear for what works when it comes to computers and keyboards. Slightly kitschy, darting synth lines skip over largely strict, tightdrums to form masses of thoughtful songs. DJ Diet spins beats between sets.
