Re: Hollister Hills Sat March 22nd

yep. It was recently graded from what I can tell.
There are usually 2 foot deep ruts all the way up.

That's what I was thinking. I was there last month and there were some huge ruts. Is the Norcal TTORA group planning any runs soon?

Re: Hollister Hills Sat March 22nd

Heh, one of those was me in the pic (SF). No, not the new one, I met up with PuckerFactor which was great, cuz I had no idea what the hell I was doing.

It was a blast, and I'll be out again. Painfully, I was only able to get halfway up Truck Hill before I bogged down. I don't have the ATRAC in 4HI hack in yet, so it wasn't on. I tried it in 4LO w/ ATRAC and didn't get nearly as far. Ahh well. Next time.

As soon as I dump the camera, I'll post up some pictures.

Quite fun, and thanks again PF!

Re: Hollister Hills Sat March 22nd

yeah after reading I realized that I was fully open going up truck hill.

The SF is an auto and with the higher gears it bogs down quickly.

Good day at hollister, got there about 11. I only saw one other FJ out there, a dealer plated SF.

The new Hankooks work cool, now I want a lift, bigger tires.chill.

By the way I was in Walnut Creek and someone with a very nice 6" lifted VB near the Toyota place, who did all that work?

I could tell you had done the led turn signal mod.
that might be mikes VB. he works in the parts dept in the back.
