So I got bored last weekend and we decided it was time to go out and do something! We ended up by Indian Valley Reservoir and tooled around out there. Went and did Lovelady ridge, a short and quasi challenging run, there was one hill climb that made it challenging due to the loose ground and the degree of the incline but nothing a stock FJ wouldn't be able handle. There was also a steep decline that was a little dicey, one of those situations where you perform a controlled slide more then anything else!
Lots of great stream crossings! The one at the end of lovelady ridge was rather deep (again nothing impossible) but came up to a little past the top of the wheels at some points....these were really the most interesting sections of the trip.
Linked are some pictures (no action shots since we are going solo), great for an early spring run.
