Redding Area Trail Recommendations (leaving 2nite)

I'm headed up to Redding tomorrow for a friend's wedding on Saturday. I was wondering if anyone knew of a short (1hr or so) trail that is close by. I'd like to sneak out sometime this weekend and break in the new suspension. I'm looking for something pretty mild that can be done without mud tires or rock rails. All input is appreciated.

Thanks,
Doc

There might be a Pacific Coast Trail some where around there since it starts in San Diego and goes all the way up to Washington. Maybe you can see if the trail runs by Redding.

Thanks, that was great information. Trip was shortened before I was able to reach any trail. I can't wait to go back next month and try these out. It was so nice up there. I also came across another trail that looks very basic but a good place to stretch my legs (suspension.) The Shasta Bally trail is a maintained road but looked like it would be a nice break in run.
