Hey guys...just wanted to say had a great time meeting new faces, good people, and finally getting to wheel with some FJ's. Here's a few pic's I have...take care
-Will (the Camo'd Tacoma)
Aarrrggghhhh! F'ing gas prices!
Big turn out...I think we counted 17 total.
A lot of FJ's. First time I have wheeled around the FJ's. Rather impressed, they did quite well.
Where there was good sun exposure or where there was lots off melting snow run-off, there was little to no snow. In the shade and where the drifts were, snow was up to 3'-4'. More than I thought it would be at 5500'.
The snow/ice was very slick. Couple of the off camber spots became pretty tricky. Lots of digging to help keep from sliding. Even then, this sections trees claimed a few dings:
After almost 4 hours, we finally made Driveshaft hill (normally a 40 minute ride). Rob made his attempt at Driveshaft Hill. A few attempts later decided to back down before damage could occur.
I took a run at it and after a few attempts made it up.
Zack and his nicely built (and looking) Tacoma made it look real easy.
Mark stepped up, saw this tree getting ready to fall and selflishly used his own truck to prevent it from falling. I'm humbled to know such a person

This section was even more slick coming back...that or this tree really is attracted to Tacos.
Yup...this tree is attracted to Taco's, it reached out and grabbed mine too.
