Trying to cath on all the posts...
1. No papaya pills for Boss otherwise we will not have anything to fight the skeeters.
2. Fire is way out of your way Boss... I swa it this morning while I was in Scotts Valley... quite a ways from Felton.
3. 3 Wet dogs then cause our 2 boys are coming to play with Abby )
... So I guess we will be the only one up there Saturday morning... keep your radio on CH4 and 7-31 so we can connect... we will see about getting campsites near the trail head.

I agree on the first but not the second. Today a fire was started by ambers that were from the Summit fires about 2 miles from my house ON QUAIL HALLOW RD and E Zyantane. I don't smell anything so I think all will be fine. I lost a house to a fire when I first moved up to Santa Cruz and Lost everything so fire really scares the crap out of me, So I guess that is why I am cautious when that fire got started in Quail Hallow. But the wind has died down and I am hopeful all will be good...

Oh woaw, that is a different fire then what I saw then.
So... I also took a look at the weather, and considering this, has anyone thought about maybe pushing this ride one week? If not, depending how things will turn out, we may be only going on Sunday then instead of Saturday.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Run; Eagle Lakes

We REALLY want to go, but we're not set up for camping during a thunderstorm.

We'll watch and wait... how's everyone else feeling about this?
