Re: I Saw You in Norcal!

Clean lookin' Brick w/ 3" lift parked in The Ahwahnee parking lot this afternoon.

Colorado plates ending in ...AEH (or was it AHE...?? Pretty sure it was AEH)

Re: I Saw You in Norcal!

Three different Titaniums seen in Yosemite over the Memorial Day weekend, all looked stock.

Caught a nice lifted one today inbound into the park along Hwy 140 in El Portal, after market bumpers and driving lights w/ California plates. I was in a company truck going the other way, so I didn’t wave. If yours, nice rig. Wish I could have hooked up with you.

You may be correcto-mundo! I just checked your link to check out your rig. I do remember yellow covers on the driving lights.

Hope you had a great trip. It is nice to have Tioga Road open again for the season. Can't wait to get over to Lee Vining for lunch at the Mono Cone, and another at the Mobil Station. Hmmmm, fish tacos!

It was a great trip. Wish I could spend more time in Yosemite. Next time. As I was heading back down into Lee Vining from Bodie to fuel up, I nearly got side-swiped by an old lady driving a Honda CRV on uS 395 (drifting over to the right lane without looking or signaling). ABS worked great; the factory horn not so good. She did not seem to know that I was there at all (neither did her husband--what was that noise, mother ). Looking forward to spending more time on the eastern Sierra.

Still lots of snow on Tioga Pass.

I'll post up photos of Bodie ghost town in the trails section soon.

Yeppers, I saw you.

I think I saw the SF (going the other way) today at the Village Store in Yosemite Valley.

[Glad to hear the ride was great. One of my officers went up to Tuolumne Meadows today, and said the mosquitos were out in full force. I'll probably get up there next week or the week after. Also glad to hear the old folks--hey, I may be one of those soon--missed you. They probably had the rap music going so loud, they never heard ya. Yeah, I gotta do that second horn upgrade soon too.]

Hah, after taking out the FJammer and putting in a much more capable stereo, that almost seems like it was intended for me! In all seriousness, it is great that Tioga Rd is open (and before memorial day at that). Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to get into the park before June 13th. Even then I won't be out off Tioga, it'll be a horsepacking trip into Ardeth Larke/Miwok Lake and surrounding areas above Hetch Hetchy.

Re: I Saw You in Norcal!

TCao (and others) some Yosemite info,

[First, nice photos of Bodie!]

News from a recent Operations Meeting w/ my company:

* Tuolumne Store should have opened for the season about 45 minutes ago.
* Tuolumne Grill opens June 5th
* Tuolumne Lodge opens June 12th
* Tuolumne Stables opens June 13th
* White Wolf opens June 19th
* High Sierra Camps schedules still not set due to snow
(Tuolumne "Gas-aineering" is already open. For non-Yosemite folks, this is the combined gas station and mountaineering store in TM)
