FJs in Yosemite and Lee Vining, yesterday and today.
First, the SF in the attached photos I saw parked at the Village Store yesterday afternoon, and then I think the same one was parked at Yosemite Lodge early this morning.
Drove over to Lee Vining today. About 2 p.m., while at the Mono Cone, I saw a nice lifted Black Cherry going S/B on Hwy 395 thru Lee Vining.
About 4 p.m., saw a nice white one going S/B on Hwy 395, south of Hwy 120, and then just after that, I turned onto 120 toward Yosemite, and caught a nice lifted Titanium pulling out of the Mobile station, going down to Hwy 395. Looked like it was packed to the gills for camping.
Then, saw a black one parked along Tioga Road in Tuolumne Meadows. I think the CA license plate ended w/ "413." Caught up to a VD Blue one in front of me near the west end of Tioga Road, a NV plate ending in "UWE." You pulled over to take photos of the bear in the meadow near Crane Flat. Did you see the other one that was in the tree near the gas station?
And then, saw another VD Blue driving thru Yosemite Village about 6 p.m.

Got a high beam wave from a SF towing something. You were SB 101 around Redwood national park. I was the one with the huge Thule on the roof. Didn't see you til the last second. *wave* right back at cha!
The wife and I were cruising around the dry lake bed part of Grant Lake today on the June Lake loop when a very nice Titanium FJ pulled up to say hello. I believe it was Brian from So Cal. Driving around Bridgeport this morning we saw quite a few fellow FJers. Then the trip home over Tioga Pass even resulted in a few waves.....amazing!

Bummer, I was around (except the Saturday before, when I did a spontaneous day trip over to Bodie, June Lake, Mammoth, and back). Maybe next time---BBQ on the Ahwahnee Meadow.
